The region around Delitzsch with the Leipzig New Lake District is so interesting itself, that only few cities in the vicinity can offer further attractions.

  • Leipzig
    The city of books, theater and music has numerous tourist attractions: Museums, the Gewandhaus, the Nikolai church, the late-Gothic Thomas Church, the Russian Memorial Church, the Battle Monument, Auerbachskeller, Central Station (largest terminal station) and not to forget the shopping streets and the Leipziger fair.
    A visit to the Leipzig Zoo, with the Gondwanaland, and the Panometer with an over 100 m long and about 37 m high panoramic image, should not be missed.
